About Lecturer
Since graduating from the University of Adelaide with concurrent honours, Han has taken keen interest in the field of implant dentistry. Since purchasing his first clinic in 2012, he has utilised implant dentistry to expand his practice and offer patients complete implant planning and treatment in-house. After extensive studies in the field early on in his career, Han has recently completed his Masters of Clinical Dentistry (Implant Dentistry) from Griffith University in the Gold Coast and was the only candidate in the past 2 years outside of Queensland. His thesis focused on biological complications, short and long-term related to dental implants in native and augmented bony sites. Han believes dental implants, within limitations, should be a part of general dental practice and is important for all dentists of the present and future to be well educated on. He has actively encouraged general dentists to be involved in dental implant treatment by holding private implant study groups for the past 3 consecutive years.
