About The Event
Course Overview
Advanced implant restorative lecture & hands-on designed for restorative dentists who have restored implants for some time and want to challenge more advanced implant restorations. The course will cover restorative treatment planning for the edentulous jaw, working together with the surgeon through all phases to achieve a final result. Hands-on will give the participants opportunity to practice taking full-arch implant impression, making implant provisional restoration, working together with dental technician as a team and viewing implant digital workflow. There will be also clinical/laboratory steps (direct versus indirect approach) for two-implant mandibular overdenture.
Course Curriculum
+Discuss treatment options for the fully edentulous jaw, difference between edentulous Mx and Md implant rehabilitations.
+Hands-on for full arch implant/restorative procedures and 2-implant mandibular overdenture.
+Restorative complications and solutions.
About Lecturer
Chin completed his DDS (1990-1996)-HCM Vietnam, worked at prosthodontic department of the Institute of Odonto-Stomatology and Maxillo-Facial Surgery/HCMCity for some 8 years before moving to Adelaide where he completed his Master of Dental Science (2005-2007) and Doctor of Clinical Dentistry/Prosthodontics (2008-2011). He has been involved in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate at The University of Adelaide, holding a senior prosthodontist at the Specialist Restorative Unit/Adelaide Dental Hospital and a senior lecturer title of The University of Adelaide. He also works part-time as a private prosthodontist.
